Tanvi Ibrahim Patankar is an emerging filmmaker from India, celebrated for her compelling storytelling and unwavering dedication to social causes. As a trailblazing independent Asian woman , Founder of Young Creative Foundation and co-founder of Young Creative Production. Tanvi focuses on highlighting underrepresented voices, particularly within the community. She uses her craft to bring attention to critical issues like violence, climate change, women’s rights, and health awareness. With a background in Television Production from New York and a Master’s degree, her work spans various mediums, including street plays, documentaries, and films, each aiming to inspire change and foster understanding.
Since 2014, Tanvi has worn many hats—filmmaker, producer, author(Amazon), Photographer, street-play artist, and concept designer. She directed and acted in the documentary “Ekta Khan, and served as the Executive Producer for the 2019 web series “The 22nd Floor.” In 2022, she assisted at the Wench Film Festival and in 2023 provided on-location direction for the international documentary “Call Me Dancer,” which garnered accolades worldwide. Tanvi’s unique approach, combining emotional depth with a strong social message, establishes her as a rising voice in the world of socially conscious filmmaking.
